不 盡 大 江 滾 滾 來 ,淊淊江水如萬馬奔騰,咆哮東去,掀起惊濤駭浪,觸目惊心,

On the late afternoon of July 3, 2011 and after we finished the panoramic views of Montreal from the Mont Royal Park, we drove south several kilometers to
Parc Regional des Rapides near the town of La Salle to enjoy the magnificent view of powerful rapids on the mighty St. Lawrence River as shown on this
panoramic photo that I took from Parc Regional des Rapides at the river bank. This is about 8 Km south of Montreal. There are several islands, including Heron
Island, surrounded by the powerful rapids in this section of St. Lawrence River. These islands have heron rookeries for about 450 pairs of great blue herons
and about 420 pairs of night-herons. The wooded areas at the far end of this panoramic picture are the islands and there are more powerful rapids on the other
side of these islands.
